About Eric Ritchie:
Eric began photography in 2015 when he received a Canon T-5 as a Christmas present from his Grandma. He wanted a DSLR for the thrill of shooting long exposures of nightscapes, particularly of the Milky Way. As time progressed, Eric wanted to hang a photo of his home mountain, Mt. Bachelor, in his room. He thought to himself, “I have a nice camera, I can take just as good of a photo as the ones I see online!” So he packed his camera bag and began a 4 AM trek up Tumalo mountain to shoot the pink Alpen glow hitting the east face of Bachelor. After shooting what he thought was a magnificient shot; he got home, drastically over edited the photo to a dark purple hue, and ordered his print. Once the print was on the wall, Eric realized this looked nothing like the shots he saw online. It was horrible! But that was ok, everyone starts somewhere! Thus began the journey of improving his skills. He found thrill from educating himself through YouTube videos and going out, applying, and self-critiquing his images.
The thrill of photography falls in line with his passions of surfing and skiing - the journey of getting better. His camera has now taken Eric all over the world. He finds an immense amount of joy of picking out the small details - typically with a long lens - and bringing home a piece of the places he loves. Eric hopes that his photography resonate with others and they enjoy a small piece of the oceans and mountains in their homes.

Eric wishes to keep his prices low in order to fill as many homes as possibly with his photography. There is a variety of sizing options specific to each print in order to display them in the best way possible.
